FinTech Global, the world’s most comprehensive FinTech news, data and analytics service, are looking for an ambitious journalist to help drive a newly created sector-focused website.
The opportunity would suit a reporter with at least one year’s experience in journalism, ideally within tech or finance, who is keen to immerse themselves in a specialist reporting area and work to become a leading authority within the RegTech sector.
As well as sourcing and writing daily news across RegTech Analyst and its sister FinTech Global website, the role includes the opportunity to produce in-depth features and analysis across topics spanning financial technology, regulation, compliance and cybersecurity.
Candidates should come in brimming with ideas about how to build and guide the website’s future – specific expertise in the FinTech space is welcomed, though not essential, with successful applicants displaying an eagerness to get to grips with the sector and build a network with top industry players.
The new reporter will join a very sociable and dynamic team at our vibrant central London office, which includes large communal spaces, free tea, coffee and beer, as well as regular free events and seminars.
A competitive salary is boosted by membership of the PerkBox app, which provides giveaways, deals and discounts such as free cinema tickets and shopping discounts from brand names such as Apple and Nike.
Being a part of the WeWork network means you can attend any training or information sessions out of over 150 WeWork events available each year. You can also participate in the lively social scene: free beer every day, Friday pizza, launch events, seasonal parties.
Please send a CV and cover letter, along with any relevant samples of finance or tech journalism, to Mike Didymus-True by completing the application form at the bottom of the following page.
